Sorrento, First Impressions

We stayed in the hotel just long enough to unpack and admire the view over the hills beyond the town and then we went outside to explore.  Opposite the hotel was a bar with pavement tables on a promontory overlooking the bay and the blue sea and with a stunning view of the brooding mound of Vesuvius on the opposite side so this was the perfect spot to sit and have a drink and get our bearings.
