Giant’s Causeway, Northern Ireland:
“O, it is excellent to have a giant’s strength, but it is tyrannous to use it like a giant” William Shakespeare, ‘Measure for Measure’
When I visited Northern Island I knew that there was one special place that I had to see while I was there: The Giant’s Causeway in County Antrim on the north-east coast.
Nice choice for the subject. I visited some years ago in a September (camping as usual) and thought it was pretty spectacular. Sadly it was my camera-free days so I’ve no pix of it.

That’s a shame – I took a few pictures but not enough. It’s a place worth visiting a second time though I think.

Giants Causeway was number 2 on my bucket list for years. I eventually visited about ten years ago. Unfortunately I’ve lost all my photos, though. Thanks for the beautiful reminder 🙂

Thanks for the comment – a shame about the photos! What was number 1?

Number 1 was the Grand Canyon. I visited there in 2010 and I have 100s of photos! My new number 1 is Alaska, I’m hoping to get there March 2014 when the Northern Lights are at their best 🙂
