I’m so in love with Stained Glass Windows that I’ve spent a fair fortune on having a few made for my home by a Slovak artist who lives in Sydney, Australia – but, of course, I have a “Federation” house and that all matches so beautifully. Huh, there you go: my heart is a wonderful mixture of cultures 😀
Ah, it’s architecture style from the turn of 20th century in Australia an of course there has been a revival of it in recent decades. Plenty of sunshine gets through, not all windows are stained glass just some and some “for show” 😀 Very nice to live in, high ceilings is what I like (3 m) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Federation_architecture
What a lovely shot, Andrew 🙂

A lucky shot really, one minute it was there and the next it had gone!

You have got the windows now all you need is the sunshine? Excuse my ignorance but what is a Federation House?

Thanks for the link and the information. I have some family in Australia but I don’t think that they live in a Federation House!
