It did go up in flames a lot faster than I thought it would!

Definitely looks like a celebration, albeit dangerous. 🙂

It went up a lot faster than I expected it to and the other stupid thing I did was to put it on a plastic hanger which immediately melted and the moment was over in a flash (literally)!

Yay! Now there’s a cause for joy! 🙂
Did you by any chance see Portillo’s Continental Railway journeys on 2 last night? It was in Poland and very interesting. He went out with your chap in the Trabant too.

Oh my. Sounds like the suit couldn’t wait to retire either. 😀 😀 😀 Quite a ceremony. I know why I didn’t think of this, I’d probably end up in the burn unit. 😦

I do confess to it being rather more dangerous than I had imagined it would be. It was like the night I nearly burnt the garden shed down on Guy Fawkes night.

We have snow and cold but nothing like Buffalo and Erie County just across the U.S. border. They’ve called in the army but a blogger I follow says they haven’t seen a snow plow yet.
Tuesday they had 1-1/2 metres of snow and are expetcing another 90 cm. today.
Here’s a link to a newspaper bigger than ours:

That is seriously a lot of snow. We haven’t had snow like that in the UK since 1963!

I don’t remember such a fall of snow. We’ve had some bad storms in the past 40+ years and I can think of only two that were terrible but not with this much snow.
