Caldes de Malavella, Catalonia…
The best part of the town was a dusty tree lined boulevard which was slumbering in the soporific heat of the late afternoon and which followed the line of a straight road with once grand villas with rusting iron balustrades, heavy wooden doors with impenetrable metal locks and adorned with scarlet geraniums spilling untidily over the balconies and dropping their crisp, sunburnt leaves one by one into the street.
This is attractive and shady. 🙂

I love the illusion of the endless road in the photo Andrew. the original post still cracks me up, no pun intended, with the seniors and their ‘exposure’ at breakfast. 🙂

That was really funny. Kim was helpless with the giggles but kept encouraging me to get the picture. Kim is from the North East and the saying there is ‘”I was bad laughing”. After a few secretive attempts (I really needed a James Bond spy pen camera) I managed a couple of snaps.
No people again – did you notice?

I’m beginning to think you scream “FIRE” and then snap the photo. 🙂
