This seems almost impossible to believe now but it was only in 1954, the year that I was born, that war time rationing in Britain was officially ended.

Perhaps you’ve seen this movie. I thought it was hilarious. The thing I got out of it besides laughs was the fact that wartime rationing in Great Britain continued after the war, though I didn’t realize it was till 1954. Wow!
