I am really not sure if Castelsardo is that old? My guess is that they are disappointingly modern!

That second angel reminds me of the Stone Angels from Dr.Who, Andrew. Not sure if you watch the programme but they have obviously been around for a very longtime.

No, I don’t Hugh but I have just looked it up and see what you mean. Actually, I haven’t watched Doctor Hugh since William Hartnell, I remember many an early Saturday night spent hiding behind the sofa!

I still hide behind the sofa (sometimes) when the show is on, especially when those weeping angels appear.

The second photo looks to have fangs! I’ve heard that many people in Sardinia live for more than 90 or 100 years. Maybe they’re actually vampires. Did anyone try to bite you in the neck?
