Golden Circle – Iceland
On the subject of Iceland and Circles, a few days ago I posted a circle challenge:
The answer was the interior clock faces at the top of the tower of the Hallgrímskirkja Cathedral in Reykjavik, Iceland.
They are more impressive from the inside than from the outside…
A great idea for a puzzle or quiz Andrew. I was definitely bamboozled.

Sue, you need to go to Iceland, hire a car and climb that tower!

That made me laugh. I hear Iceland is pretty pricey. Oh well some stories would be worth it right?

It is a lot cheaper post 2008 and the bank crash. A pint of beer is about £5, how does that compare? There is a useful duty free shop at the airport (arrivals) where prices are about the same as the UK!

Well definitely more expensive than Canada but again some things are just worth it. 🙂

I thought it was about 30% more expensive than UK. I have no idea how UK compares to Canada. A pint of beer in a pub here is about £3.20 and a loaf of bread is about£1 (not in a pub obviously).

Beer sounds about the same. Bread seems more expensive here.

I got a lot closer than I thought. I thought it was the clocks on Mansfield Cathedral, but I stand corrected!

Now there is a place that I have never visited. Thanks John.

HaHa!
To be honest, I was so interested in the views I missed them myself. Kim took these pictures while I rushed to the viewing balcony. It was a glorious day, sunshine and blue skies and I just wanted the magnificent views. Kim has a better eye for detail than me.

I was able to find the answer, but only because you offered clues.
