Vegetable Art – La Rochelle, France
Outside the vegetable stalls offered appetizing produce that was so fresh it still had one foot in the countryside and was all arranged in spectacular displays with an elaborate attention to detail.

Wow! Fantastic! Love them both … and the colours! I remember La Rochelle from visiting years ago. Thank you for the slingback in time.

But did they spend so much time arranging their vegetables that they did not want to sell them? Or did you buy them as a job lot, wrapped in plastic to prevent damage in transit?

I think they sell them loose from under the counter!

These are beautiful Andrew. So much color and definitely the images could be framed art pieces. I love outdoor markets, obviously a short summer season of them here.

Might you pass the platter, Andrew. It’s almost lunchtime here. No, I changed my mind. It’s all too gorgeous to eat. Love the colors! 🙂
