  3. Blimey! Some of those doors look like El Cid himself knocked on them to get water for his horse. I presume that they are in public buildings?

    • Perhaps that is what happened to the decoration on the second one – he knocked it off with La Tizona!
      Apart from the church door the rest are private residencies and mansions.

  4. Myquestion as well about the missing hardware. Stirs the imagination. 😀 😀 😀 I wonder if it fell off or was removed on purpose? If on purpose, for what possible reason? Would need to know the culture better, I suppose. Sigh.
