Andrew what do you think happened to that second door? Did some one make off with the hardware? Seems like a story in the making. 🙂

I didn’t notice at the time but spotted it later when sorting through my pictures and I wondered exactly the same!

Why do we seem to be fascinated with doors and windows? Why are ours (in Anglo-Saxon countries) generally so boring?

Blimey! Some of those doors look like El Cid himself knocked on them to get water for his horse. I presume that they are in public buildings?

Perhaps that is what happened to the decoration on the second one – he knocked it off with La Tizona!
Apart from the church door the rest are private residencies and mansions.

Myquestion as well about the missing hardware. Stirs the imagination. 😀 😀 😀 I wonder if it fell off or was removed on purpose? If on purpose, for what possible reason? Would need to know the culture better, I suppose. Sigh.
