I really like tiles, Andrew. If I ever became a collector of anything other than books, I think tiles might be it. My favorite was the modern one, sixth down. –Curt

The really good thing is that there are tiles like this all over Spain and they never seem to be vandalised of graffitied

I love the bright colours of the Spanish tiles 🙂 I have got some Portuguese tiles on our garden water feature (got them from a specialist shop here in Perth). They are brilliant blue and white and look lovely in the garden!

Portugal is the place to go to see tiles. Have you ever been?

No haven’t got there yet! Again our younger daughter has been a couple of times. One of her London flatmates is Portuguese and has said we’re very welcome to stay at her parents place near Lisbon (they live abroad!) so we must try and get there at some point!

Only the Spanish and the Portuguese can do this. Maybe Mexico? But I have never been to Mexico. Maybe Cuba? My son is in Cuba right now, I will ask him when he gets back.

That is courtesy of Antoni Gaudi, one of his few buildings outside of Catalonia.
