Beautiful images… taking a walk through those streets would really be interesting, right?

Hey, it certainly is, traditional and friendly!
They’re rustic & gorgeous! The colours are stunning!
They have a lot of people going in and out over the years that’s for sure.
Love that first image, especially…wonderfully decrepit and textured!
Do you mean the header picture, oh yes, isn’t that wonderful!
Or do you mean the patched up blue door, isn’t that wonderful!
The patched up blue door! But I would be interested to see more of the header image, too….it has promise
Nicely done. That first one has so much character and texture – terrific shot 🙂
Thank you. Without doubt one of the best doors in Greece that I have ever come across.
By the way Andrew I poked around your blog a bit and noticed you too have quite an affinity for doors. In fact I found you by doing a tag search for “doors”.
I run a weekly feature on my blog called Thursday Doors where people from all over come by to share their posts about doors. Please do feel free to swing by and join in anytime. Cheers!
Thanks for the invitation, I’ll do that!
Your doors border on being philosophical. Andrew, offering slices of life, they speak volumes. –Curt
There are lot of things about doors that interest me Curt – who built them, who repaired them, who painted them over and over and most of all who passed through them!
And I would add, what lies behind them… –Curt

The Greeks seem to have the most picturesque doors I must say. Gorgeous captures Andrew.
So many Sue that you don’t have to go to too much trouble to find them! I am going to do a book of door pictures!
Oh that’s an excellent idea Andrew!
Beautiful as always. How often do you run across a beautiful door with some impediment in front of it like a garbage can or pile of junk or something? I hate that when I find a great door or building and there is a car parked in front of it or something else that ruins the visual.
Sometimes the impediment enhances don’t you think?
I’m curious… have you been shooting doors forever (before blogging), or have you collected these from recent travels. They’re marvelous!
Thanks Gunta, these were all taken in Greek Islands in September just this year.
