It is worth a day trip but in my opinion Santorini is overrated. If you travel to the Greek Islands let me know and I will give you some recommendations!

Andrew you definitely have convinced me with your Greek island posts that we very much need to return one day and explore. If we loved Santorini then imagine how we will feel about the rest!

Oh Sue, I have said this before but Santorini is just a tourist pit that runs off the cruise ship visitors.. It is run by people from Athens and the mainland. It is not at all authentic.
If you want to see Cyclades then let me know and I will give you some recommendations!
