Thank you Andrew, same to you and yours! “Where next” has become very difficult to plan for, but we have only the SW left in our Tour of England which is not too difficult so at least that will be done 👍.
No Andrew, but we’d already previously done a lot from The Wash round to Ipswich. However, we’ve been thinking about completing our original list soon which is Devon and Cornwall, then extending even into areas we’ve visited previously but may have places or things we’d like to see. This WOULD include Lincolnshire certainly, maybe Norwich again, and other large towns or cities such as York, Lincoln, etc. But, I’m being encouraged to do Cambodia on my own by Dr C now. It was the big thing on our list for 2018 we couldn’t do, but apart from my mountaineering expeditions we’ve never done such travel separately. Needs thought!
Try Glasgow city centre, so much history, culture, museums and galleries. Do look seriously at Orkney especially Scara Brae just incredible, as well as Maes Howe and Ring of Brodgar
With Yorkshire administratively split into three, Lincolnshire is the largest single English County. Paradoxically it has the least interesting places to visit than all of the other 47! But I like it nevertheless! If you drive this way be sure to call in!
By the way, look out for my post tomorrow morning, you might like to go to the final paragraph just above the footnote first where you are mentioned, tagged and ….. Well, I’d better not say!
Córdoba and Malaga I have visited and enjoyed,, but so many more places to see…..
