Nicosia turned out to be rather a disappointment, a city of crumbling grey concrete, abandoned cars and fly tips. I didn’t care for the place a great deal. Here is a rather sad collection of neglected doors…

I just have a weak spot for old, somewhat beaten down doors Andrew.

Thanks Sherry. It is some time since anyone took a cleaning cloth to those doors.

A few of these look to still be salvageable with some serious TLC, but the abundance of texture and character makes them all such wonderful shots. Bravo 🙂

I think they should be left just as they are. People will still be taking pictures of them in 50 years time!

A really good collection here. Ticking the ‘like’ box doesn’t mean one likes the doors though, does it? They are terrible – but they do make good pictures!

These neglected doors are my type. Not to live in, but definitely a great photo opportunity.

Guess we all have our own opinion of what is beautiful:) But this was at a vacation trip, or…? Since your last name is English and this is Cyprus?
