Even though travel restrictions are easing I am not yet minded to risk it so I still have no new stories to post so I continue to go through my picture archives and see where I was on this day at any time in the last few travelling years.
On 2nd October 2015 I was in an Italian Ghost Town in Sardinia…
The sea and cliffs always nice here we survive Alex!

Agree with you Andrew, one of the (few) bright things about Covid is that it has given us a chance to reflect on how lucky we have been to travel as much as we have in the past.

Absolutely Richard. October flights to Spain cancelled by Easyjet now.

Hi Andrew. Will be interested to read your thoughts on Alghero. I went there three or four times in the 2000s so probably 15 years ago. I really liked the place, including the fresh food and terrific local wines.

We went there in 2006 and again in 2015. I have a post about it tomorrow.

Well, us too! Not seen Corsica yet, though we did have a terrific trip to Elba a few years ago which included a couple of days in Pisa. Elba was lovely, and indeed was the place where we first discovered Aperol spritz!
