  1. Ah, Ichnusa, I remember it well! I also remember discovering two fabulous wines in Alghero, both, I think, from the same local winery – they were Cannonau and Cagnulari. Cagnulari was a magnificent specimen. The winery had a stall in the market, from which I tried to get a dozen bottles sent home, but the shipping costs were prohibitive. To this day, I’ve never seen Cagnulari in the UK.
