Woke this morning to the first really hard frost of the Winter…
A good set. I had reason to check this post on 29th https://derrickjknight.com/2014/12/29/a-slap-in-the-face-with-a-wet-fish/
and was amazed at the frost we had 6 years ago
That is a great set Derrick, I especially like the leaves.

Thanks very much, Andrew
It was about 2014 we had a -14 in the east and that did a lot of damage. Only -3 last night.
Frost is, to me, one of the marvels of nature. So delicate, and so complete in its covering of the land. These are wonderful images, Andrew.
Thank you and Happy New Year.
Ok we are at 1C here but keep the frost there ok lol!! Happy New Year or Bonne Année 2021!
And also to you my friend!
This afternoon, Thursday, really cold here. Put an object down and it’s freezing to the surface.
Frost hasn’t lifted here all day.
Happy New Year John.
I thought Cleethorpes had a Mediterranean climate.
Not today it hasn’t!
It’s been much the same here. Though it briefly reached +1 at one point. Happy New Year!
We manager +2 early afternoon.
Ooh, that’s a good un! Healthy, happy New Year, Andrew 🙂 🙂
I am hopeful that sub zero temperatures kill the Covid germs. Enjoy your NYE!
That looks cold, we were -1 only; but that’s a shock
It was only -2 but that is cold enough for me.
Happy New Year Sue, so glad to have you as a blogging pal!
And Happy New Year to you, Andrew….looking forward to more blog ‘chats’ in 2021!
Quite pretty in its own way, Andrew. And a farewell to the plants it touches. Ours have already been through several sub-freezing experiences this year! –Curt
Beautiful images. Cold and bright here – at least the new year looks cheerful which lifts my spirits after a dreary December. Hope 2021 is good for you and we can all get moving again.
Glad I took the pictures yesterday, we are back to rain again today!
frost really enhances the variety of shapes, doesn’t it
Nature makes a great job of art! Happy New Year.
