Dear Andrew,
we spend some weeks in Kirchzarten and in the Feldberg Hotel every year. We always had enough snow for skiing. But we lived in the Scandinavian Arctic later and there we started to love real winters. We like the clear air and all the optic illusion when the temperatur falls below minus 25 C. Now we live at the North Norfolk coast. It’s very mild there and we miss the snow.
Thanks for sharing.
Keep well

No snow so far this winter in Grimsby Jo. Being on the coast seems to keep it away.

What a treat, to make up for snowless Grimsby. We’ve had plenty – how odd.

Very often it fails to get any closer than the Wolds and being by the coast weather from the West doesn’t quite make it this far.

Looks good but so glad that we get little of it where we live.

I’m with you on that, Andrew. I like just enough to cover the ground and make things pretty…
