And red geraniums aflame upon my window sill.” – Martha Haskell Clark

Love the first one! I do have a balcony or two but I can’t get at the roof terrace this morning. ‘Someone’ is painting 🙂 🙂

I usually have a few pots on mine, but living high up to start with, the wind here is almost constant, some do well but others do not.
I love the ones you showed. Many years ago we had an apartment in Ibiza, the flowers that trailed from our balcony were absolutely gorgeous in the summer.

There was a lot of gale damage lat night so balcony pots wouldn’t have stood a chance.

Mine are waiting to have the summer planting, I missed out this year on the winter ones. The wind calmed down a little this morning, but now it’s building up again. My old house is beginning to sound like something from Wuthering heights!
