People Pictures – Unusual Headware

When it comes to taking pictures I like doors, statues, balconies and washing lines, Kim on the other hand likes people pictures so I thought I might share a few of them with you.

This one was taken in a street in Marrakech just outside of the busy Souk…

Why do you think she has got a plastic footstool on her head?

a – She has just bought it and it is the easiest way to carry it home
b – She supports Manchester City
c – She takes it shopping with her so she can reach the top shelf in the store
d – Health and Safety – a Moroccan Hard Hat
e – It keeps the flies off

  1. She’s going somewhere where she’ll need to sit down and there’s no guarantee she’ll find anything suitable when she gets there.

  4. WellI reckon it’s either (a) or you and your camera arrived moments after someone threw that stool from their balcony and you captured the moment that it landed on the unsuspecting lady’s head

  7. I’ll say A. She has a stick in one hand and a bag in the other, so her head is the best way to carry the lightweight stepping stool.

It’s very common for villagers to carry loads on their heads.
Village women can carry three earthen pots of water easily on their heads and walk in a straight line.
There are many more examples of carrying load over head😊
