I think it is worth a visit if only to see the coastline and the devastation of erosion. Some really nice coastal walks. The beach is really lovely, last week we were swimming in the sea every day. Skipsea Sands is a big caravan park, the village is tidy and quaint, Skipsea castle is just a big mound of earth.
Excellent selection!

I wonder what they’re all doing behind the green door?

Somehow, I’ve never been to Skipsea. Should I?

An excellent selection. I couldn’t scroll through the gallery. Wherever I first clicked I got the first image which wouldn’t budge.

Thank you Derrick. Odd about the scrolling gremlin.

Love the last one – it reminds me of our old shed door.

Just noticed Derrick’s comment. I had the same problem on his site too, I thought it was my iPad, now I see this is a WP issue.

Some beauties here – especially like the simple, weathered ones.

Thank you. Shows that there is no need to go to Greece to see good doors.
