Chains, Ropes and Anchors

These pictures were all taken in the fishing harbour in the village of Mevagissey in Cornwall.  Except  for one that was taken on the Greek island of Corfu.  Can anyone guess the odd one out?

  1. I don’t know why but 008. The red chain hanging down with the bottom two links green. I think that is Greece and probably because Greece has very small changes between high tide and low tide whereas Cornwall has a huge range. But that’s just a guess.

  2. I am not good of guessing or luck games so pass. However, nice memories of fishing villages of my youth in another country. Cheers

  3. I love guessing games. I’m choosing the one marked 03, the rusty old anchor because there’s something about the image that I appeals to me. It would look lovely framed.

  4. I’d go for the patriotic colours of No 6, the blue and white of Greece, more or less.

  5. Fabulous shots. I’m going for the red chain dipping into the sea with all its reflections.

  7. Great collection of images and you did well to dig these out of what must be a fabulous collection of photographs. I’m not even going to try to guess which is the odd one out. I’m happy just to look at them.

  11. I’m trying to figure out which one was not on the guessing list yet … 😉. But they’re all so beautiful, love the different colours. What about #5 – looks like the odd one out 👀.
