I am tempted to say that you wouldn’t understand it but a lot of people play cricket in France and it has a national team that competes in Europe.

That Bill Bryson’s humor is so often in his observation. He points out something right in front of us and the perception is hilarious. I’ve never watched cricket, so I have to take his word for it. I’ll bring a book.
