I know they are beautiful but for some reason I feel that they drop their petals rather quickly; I haven’t ever been a real fan.

The annual Australian Tessllaar Tulip Festival is held in Silvan in Victoria in September.

I used to live in the Dandenongs . My sister had a holiday job at the tulip farm. She is still a tulip fan.

When I moved there in 2000 it was a delightful little town in the Fens almost 25 years behind the times but it has changed a great deal with a lot of food distribution companies and a lot of traffic.

It was Jo, it was the sort of place that if there were 10 cars in a queue then it was called a traffic jam.
In 2005 a new store opened in town and the headline in the local paper was “Spalding gets its first escalator”
