    They manage some quite steep gradients. A bus would certainly struggle.

    I remember well, using these trams. I also remember being surprised, like you were, at quite what a steep hilly city it is, even with elevators to take you from street to street in places.

    Fabulous photos Andrew. I also loathe the graffiti. The yellow tram painting is very nice, I’d have that on my wall any day.
